Fadzai Mahere reveals new Zimbabwe bank notes
The former CCC legislator, Advocate Fadzayi Mahere says the initiative by the government to launch a whole new currency without a notice is a complete mess.
She says the government didn’t even explain to the public what the new structured currency will even mean to the banking sector, businesses or the general public.
Mahere says the government just ambushed the people of Zimbabwe without any explanation about the new currency.
Posting on x she said, ” What kind of a country launches a whole new currency without a legal framework?….How do you build trust and confidence when you govern by ambush?”
