ANC veteran Lindiwe Sisulu is charting the trends after revealing that after their investigation into the X account Goolam, they discovered that the person behind the account works in President Cyril Ramaphosa’s office and is involved in communications.

Sisulu shared this while speaking at the Independent Media Unmasking Project Media Briefing. Mohammed Yacoob and two others including a woman in the presidency were identified as being behind the account.

Mohammed is a lecturer at the University of KZN and denied any involvement in the account and in politics.

Sisulu revealed during the briefing that she was attacked a number of times by the people behind the account and it was investigated. “For some time, we tried to track Goolam down abd we found that the person is in the presidency and a woman who handles communications.

We had a lot of Information. We bugged everybody,” she said. She revealed that she was personally attacked by Goolam when she ran for the ANC presidency.

The Preaidency spokesperson Vincent Mangwenya said that it was irrational for Sisulu to make such claim, adding that the most rational course of action should have been to take the information to the Director General in the presidency for further investigation.
