State-owned mobile network operator, NetOne Cellular has faced backlash after reviewing its data prices.
NetOne increased One Fi bundle prices by more than 100 percent with the highest bundle – 80GB – going for $99 000 or US$798, 39.

Zimbabweans online heavily criticised Netone for its absurd increase in the price of mobile data.
Wellence Mujuru said the prices are just nonsensical as some people will not even afford the bundle with their pay.

Following massive basklash, Netone says it is looking into the concerns raised by stakeholders.
