Elon Musk made news after he tweeted:
You can now buy a Tesla with Bitcoin.
In a separate tweet, Musk said Tesla is only using internal and open source software and operates Bitcoin nodes directly.
Nodes are computers that work to verify transactions and prevent Bitcoin from being spent twice.
Musk also said Bitcoin paid to Tesla will be retained as Bitcoin not converted to fiat currency.
Last month, Tesla announced they were investing $1,5 billion into bitcoin so this is seen as a natural progression.
Other companies that are embracing Bitcoin as well include MasterCard and the oldest bank in America, and so you Bitcoin here to stay.
