Mwonzora Gets Second Covid-19 Vaccine

MDC-T Leader, Douglas Mwonzora on Wednesday received his second Sinopharm vaccine in Harare at Wilkins hospital.

Posting on his Twitter page, Mwonzora said it is only responsible for people to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

“We thank Zimbabweans for heeding our call to get vaccinated for Covid 19. Witnessed hundreds of Zimbabweans today throng the Wilkins Hospital to get their vaccines. This is the responsible thing to do. I also took my second dose of the vaccine,” he posted.

Mwonzonza said the COVID-19 pandemic is a national emergency and therefore the fight against this pandemic must completely be depoliticized.

Less than 50 000 people have been vaccinated since the country launched the first phase of the vaccination process.

Meanwhile, Mnangagwa will launch the second phase in Victoria Falls where he will get his first jab of the Sinovac vaccine together with other POLAD members and their spouses.
