Rapper Lil Wayne has been arrested and charged by federal prosecutors in Miami with illegal possession of a gun as a convicted felon.
According to court documents, the charge is for a December 2019 incident where federal agents searched Wayne’s plane at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport and found firearm.
Wayne faces a maximum of 10 years in prison if he is convicted.
In 2007, Wayne was arrested in New York on weapons and drug charges and later served a year in prison at Rikers Island for the weapons charge.
Meanwhile, 50 cents said Wayne can be put in jail for having endorsed Trump during elections.
“Wait a minute, Trump still got 63 days left call him Wayne. They gonna try put you to jail for supporting Trump”, he wrote
