Former Zimbabwe Finance Minister, Tendai Biti has issued a statement following persistent rumours on his association with self imposed CCC interim secretary General, Sengezo Tshabangu.

Biti said Zimbabwe is at a crossroads because of the weight of a stolen elections, unprecedented corruption and the looting of public funds.

He says like most Zimbabweans, he gets to read about the illegal recalls by Tshabangu in newspapers and will never be part of a project to weaken the democratic strategy in Zimbabwe.

I have been imprisoned and tortured And I have stood firm I’ve never worked with Zanu PF and I’ll die before I lend my hand to the illegitimate Zanu PF regime.
