Former Deputy Prime Minister, Professor Arthur Mutambara says the gold mafia is the manifestation of what is wrong with the continent because it is about illicit flows.
Professor Mutambara was speaking during a book launch in Johannesburg.
He said the current government is incompetent, corrupt and Illegitimate because it is foundationally built on a coup d’état.
In November 2017, late Robert Mugabe was removed from power and party leader of ZANU-PF, he was replaced by Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Mutambara said the country needs a new government that is democratic, fairly elected and wanted in by the people.
Zimbabwe will hold presidential and parliamentary elections on the 23rd of August.
