Socialite Mike Chimombe will be contesting in the weekend elections for the ruling party’s Central Committee (CC) NewsReport reported.
Chimombe who is popularly known as Boss Mike was recently arrested for defrauding a Harare man with US$16500 in a botched residential stand deal.
Deputy Minister Kindness Paradza also made it onto the list of candidates who are challenging Makonde, a CCmember and Pheneas Makumbe in one of the pending referendums.
