Justice Mayor Wadyajena who is accused of fraud and money laundering has filed an application challenging his placement on remand.
He was charged together with his company of Zimbabwe (Cottco) which was reportedly used as a conduit to defraud Cottco.
In the application, Wadyajena and Danya who are represented by Oliver Marwa and Harrison Nkomo submitted the charges they are facing do not show that they were committing or were about to commit a case.
The lawyer defended Wadyajena saying there is no link that shows that Wadyajena and Mayor logistics are associated with what their accused of.
