A cash-in-transit van carrying gold from HowMine to Bulawayo was attacked this morning.
Witnesses told Zimlive that the robbers got away in a GP Toyota Hilux and a Nissan March which were damaged with bullets after a shootout.
11.9 kg of gold worth about US650 000 was taken.
