Remains of 45 ZCC members who died in an accident arrive in Botswana

The remains of 45 ZCC members who tragically died in a bus crash have arrived at Sir Seretse Khama International Airport in Gaborone, Botswana.

The Pilgrims were flown from the Gateway International Airport in Polokwane, South Africa this morning.

They were killed in a horrific accident on the R518 Mmamatlakala mountain pass between Mokopane and Marken in Limpopo Province last month.

The 45 will be laid to rest following a mass funeral at Molepolole Stadium outside Gaborone on Saturday.

The caskets are sealed with the names of the deceased inked on the coffins. There will be no viewing of the bodies as mostly are burnt beyond recognition.
