A Zambian politician and opposition leader Sean Tembo has been formally charged and arrested for defaming President Hakainde Hichilema.
According to reports , Sean Tembo had been detained for almost a week without being charged.
He said that there is no other reasonable excuse on why arrests should take more than six days.
Tembo said it is his duty as an opposition leader to do checks and balances on the present government.
