The president of Botswana, Mokgweetsi Masisi officially opened the agricultural show in Zimbabwe today.

In a speech he gave, he said that Botswana and Zimbabwe have a long collaboration since long back.

He added that he is pleased pleased to see Zimbabwe companies participating in the Botswana expo 2022 that will take place in August. He said participants should use this event as a business agricultural to build long lasting networks for them.

He added that the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine has resulted in the downfall in the agricultural production and supply chains in Africa leading to the disruption of food security and nutrition.

He said that people have to mindful of their actions particularly effects on environment which goes together with food production.
