The son of Zimbabwe’s former Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko, Siqokoqela is wanted by the police for raping his neice.
Mphoko had been arrested accused of rape but has since ran away from Hillside Police Station saying he fears his enemies want to use the police to kill him.
Speaking to Ezra Tshisa Sibanda, Mphoko said he handed himself to the police after the law enforcement agents threatened to take stern measures against him.
He pinned his detention on Professor Welshman Ncube stating that the arrest was ocherstrated by his business partners involved in the Choppies case.
“My former business partners are behind this. These people have a serious network. Why would my sister lie and say something like this. The allegation is that I used a condom on her,” he said.
Mphoko said he fears for his life adding that the last time he was arrested he risked losing his life.
