LEAD leader Linda Masarira says she rejected USD1 Million from the United States to ridicule Zimbabwe.
Masarira revealed that after her arrest in 2016, the US Embassy approached her to offering assistance as a way of buying her loyalty.
She said she was offered the woman of courage award for being an activist against ZANU PF which she refused.
The activist said her conscious could not allow her to go out and humiliate Zimbabwe. Linda said she was ridiculed by people for rejecting the offer.
Masarira said the likes of Hopewell Chin’ono who go out to shame Zimbabwe will have been paid huge sums of money by the US Embassy.
