South African actress, Connie Ferguson is set to visit Zimbabwe on the 6th of May courtesy of Nedbank and Zodwa Mkandla’s foundation.

Nedbank Zimbabwe Ltd will be the headline sponsor for Connie Ferguson’s inaugural visit to Zimbabwe.

There will be dinner at Meikles Hotel on May 6th which costs us$200 followed by lunch at The Venue in Avondale the next day.

The visit is part of Connie Ferguson’s regional tour and will see the businesswoman interact with local entrepreneurs.

‘The Queen’ actress will be visiting for Mother’s Day weekend entitled ‘Women in Business Luncheon’.

Ferguson, who rose to fame after starring as Karabo Moroka on South Africa’s most popular soap, Generations till her exit in 2010, co-founded a production powerhouse, Ferguson Films with her late husband, Shona.

Zodwa said she is very excited to be part of bringing Connie to Zimbabwe.

“She’s going to impact on women in business, especially I know a few men that are going to maybe attend the function on Friday that might be able to take one or two things from Connie Ferguson. But we’re looking at the leaders, the women, the young women intrapreneurs in business, even upcoming even those that are already in business through the sponsorship by Ned bank.”
