Political activist Freeman Chari says failure to acknowledge that Americans played a prominent role in the death of Libya’s former President Mu’ammar Gaddafi is intellectual dishonesty.
Writing in a Twitter thread, Chari said USA had sought to eliminate Gaddafi as early as 1971 since America and Libya had numerous military altercations prior to 2011.
He said just like later in Iraq, In 1986 USA bombed Libya in retaliation to the West Berlin Disco bombing which they attributed to Libya.
