Award winning Journalist Hopewell Chin’ono has dismissed gay allegations circulated by Tafadzwa Mugwadi on social media.
Posting on Facebook, Chin’ono said he is not gay.
“The ruling party ZANUPF Director of Information Tafadzwa Mugwadi is so angry with my Geneva speech which had zero lies. He has resorted to calling me Gay which I am not and issuing threats against me.”
Hopewell spoke about how the ZANUPF elites plunder and smuggle Gold worth over US$100 million a month, yet they have failed to build a single maternity theater in Zimbabwe.
The speech has attracted massive criticism for the journalist with ZANU PF considering him a sellout.
Chin’ono added: “Please DON’T respond in kind to this drivel, his tweets are brilliant because they show the world what we always say about ZANUPF and its abuse and lack of tolerance to facts.”
