Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) leader Nelson Chamisa Sunday sat among his supporters during his rally at Mkoba Stadium, Gweru, following claims Zanu PF wants to kill him.
Chamisa said state security agents were plotting to assassinate him at a rally in Bulawayo.
He sat among his supporters, flanked on either side by his two deputies, Tendai Biti and Welshman Ncube.
CCC leader was seen putting on what looked like a bullet proof vest in a picture circulating on social media.
“This government had been trying to kill me,” he said, adding: “We have done away with this system of chefs. Chefs are the citizens, not the president.”
Chamisa likened himself to David saying he is annointed,he cannot be destroyed.
