The President of the Republic of Zambia, His Excellency Hakainde Hichilema has started evacuating Zambian nationals in Ukraine.
Hichilema took to social media to update Zambians that he has started evacuating the Zambians in Ukraine.
“We would like to inform the nation that evacuation of our citizens from Ukraine is progressing well.
We further acknowledge the hardwork and commitment from our staff in the embassies that were involved, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as the Zambian community in Europe that is making this undertaking easier.
God bless Zambia,” he posted.
