The body of Botswana soldier gunned down in the Islamic Insurgency in Mozambique is set to arrive today.
The BDF issued a statement saying the minister of Defence Thomas Kagiso Mmusi and the family of the deceased will receive the body today.
This is the second soldier to return in a body bag from Mozambique. The first one lost his life in a motor vehicle accident in August 2021.
The ceremony will be held at Sir Seretse Khama International Airport and the estimated time of arrival is 1630hrs.
The BDF is yet to reveal the name of the gunned down soldier.
