The President of Zambia, His Excellency Hakainde Hichilema has appointed new chief Justice.
The seventh President of Zambia took to social media to announce his new appointments.
“We thank the honourable Members of Parliament for ratifying the Chief Justice Hon. Dr. Mumba Malila, State Counsel, this morning.
We also would like to extend our thank you on the ratification of appointment for Mr Vincent Blackskin Malambo, State Counsel, as Chairperson of the Judicial Complaints Commission.
We are confident that the two will deliver the requisite judicial reforms so that citizens will not only receive justice but be seen to be receiving justice,” he posted.
The swearing in ceremony of the chief Justice was held today at Zambia’s state house.
