Zimbabwean jiti musician, Braveman Chizvino popularly known as Baba Harare is celebrating his 33rd birthday today.
He was born on 22 December 1988. He was born Braveman Chizvino to Gibson Chizvino and Fadzai Mawanza (mother).
The singer took to social media to celebrate his 33rd birthday.
“Today on my birthday I want to thank you Jiti family. New ones, old ones, day ones and riders. This year has been a difficult year in our industry and one had to lean heavily on their fanbase. Thank you for being my biggest birthday present. I love you all ,” posted.
Baba Harare is the last born in a family of seven – four boys and three girls.
He was given the name Baba Harare by Jah Prayzah’s former manager Filda Muchabaiwa when his wife gave birth to their child while in Harare despite their plans for her to deliver in the rural areas.
Muchabaiwa popularly known in music circles as Mama Filo joked that the child should be named Harare hence the name Baba Harare.
