The newly appointed ambassador to the Americas and Europe Prophet Uebert Angel has hit the ground running by mobilising a multi million dollar investment project that will see two facilities of international standards being constructed in Harare .
President Emmerson Mnangagwa accompanied by Vice President general Dr Constantino chiwenga this Friday had the opportunity to officiate the ground breaking ceremony for the two projects in Harare.
The first project is a hotel with 40 Executive rooms and it also has a Hippodromethat will be used to host international conferences.
“The project will see the creation of 400 jobs during the building phase, and also 230 jobs when it’s running up. and The hotel will create approximately 200 jobs in the building phase and 50 full time workers once the hotel is finished. That’s almost 1000 jobs created in two phases,” said Uebert Angel.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa applauded his ambassador at large for instant action.
“I applaud my ambassador at large, Mr Uebert Angel and his wife and their partners for this act of patriotism, determination,” said Mnangagwa.
This event comes barely a month after the appointment of prophet Uebert Angel as the country’s first envoy and ambassador at large to the Americas and Europe.
