MDC-T’s extraordinary congress will now proceed with no legal obstacles.

This comes after the Bulawayo High court dismissed expelled organising secretary,  Abednico Bhebhe’s urgent application seeking to stop the congress.

Bhebhe was arguing that the extraordinary congress had to be stopped until the case in which he is challenging his expulsion was finalized as he also wanted to contest foe the MDC-T presidency.

Bhebhe’s application was thrown out with costs on a higher scale after the court accepted Professor Lovemore Madhuku’s preliminary point that Bhebhe had came to the wrong court as the high court could not vary dates set by the supreme court.
