ZANU PF Acting spokesperson Patrick Chinamasa Says the ruling party will not stand and fold hands against the violent opposition ahead of theĀ  31 July planned national protest.

Speaking during a press conference on Wednesday, Chinamasa said the opposition in the past under the pretence that they are demonstrating have caused untold violence thus the lockdown will tame them.

Chinamasa said on the 1st of August 2018 and January 2019 MDC have caused immense violence showing that the opposition is embedded in violence

The party will never allow people to be manipulated by neo colonial elements to engage in dangerous political theatrics and risk spreading covid-19.

Chinamasa warned the 31 July national protest organisers against the demos saying there is no vacuum to remove Emmerson Mnangagwa from power unconstitutionally.

Chinamasa said people should desist from being misled by mechants of propaganda, fake news peddlers who have gone into an overdrive to misinform and disinform people by insinuating that there is a military curfew.
