Energy Mutodi has announced that Emmerson Mnangagwa’s decision to rehire the fired doctors was out of compassion as he has the nation’s interest at heart.
This comes after more than 400 hundred doctors were dismissed for striking against the government’s ignorance towards capacitating doctors and hospitals.
On his Twitter handle, Mutodi said Mnangagwa has the interests of the people at heart.
“His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa has issued a moratorium enabling fired doctors to return to work.
He has done this out of compassion as well as to satisfy his fiduciary duty to act in the best interest of Zimbabwe” he said.
Government has announced that fired doctors can return to work within 48 hours.
