After the release of Mthuli Ncube’s 2020 budget, the Chinese embassy issued a statement dismissing the bilateral figures as false.
This week the Chinese Deputy Ambassador to Zim Zhao Baogang used a chicken analogy saying China gave Zimbabwe 5 chickens but 2 were accounted for.
Mthuli Ncube had shunned journalist questions on the issue saying it was resolved with the Chinese embassy and reduced it to an accounting method used difference.
However, the Chinese deputy ambassador seems resolute to shame Mthuli and his economics method.
He implies that the difference can not be attributed to a difference in accounting approach.
