South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa, has Retrenched 20 out of the 46 employees at his Ntabanyoni Cattle farm.

Ramaphosa is a well known cattle farmer and had won awards in the past for his herd.

The job losses at the farm are reportedly as a result of foot and mouth disease that is sweeping across SA.

Ramaphosa also said the farm is not making money anymore and therefore he had no choice but to let some of his staff go.

Ramaphosa personally drove to his farm and spoke to the retrenched workers.

However, the some of the retrenched workers felt that they had been treated unfairly as they have nowhere to go just before the Christmas holidays.
