ED Mnangagwa and his deputies today visited Mt Hampden to assess progress on the Chinese-funded New Parliament of Zimbabwe Complex.

The 700-seat Parliament is near completion and will be part of the signature programmes of the by ED Mnangagwa’s administration.

The construction is funded by the Chinese aid.

Goerge Charamba reports that the structure will be completed in three days time, with the rest of the works concluding by year-end.

He also reports that more than 800 jobs have been created by the project which marks the beginning of a new city in the Mt Hampden Area.

Also slotted for putting up is the Justice Complex as well as Office of the President, thus completing symbolic presence of three arms of the State.
