The Vice President of Zimbabwe, Dr Constantino Chiwenga today officially opened the 2024 Tobacco Marketing Season (TMS).
Chiwenga says enough leaf has been exported its time to beneficiate in Zimbabwe as it must not only end in growing.
The first tobacco bale which was auctioned was prized at $4.92/ kg from $4.35 last year owing to the drought which has hit the national of Zimbabwe.
Chiwenga urges Zimbabwe tobacco farmers to farm sustainably in an eco friendly way.
