American actress Jada Pinkett Smith has revealed that she and her husband Will Smith have lived completely separate lives since 2016.
She made the revelations in an interview with People magazine.
Though it’s not a legal divorce, Pinkett Smith saif that it’s essentially a divorce without papers.
The prominent Hollywood couple married in 1997, they share two children, Willow and Jaden, as well as a son, Trey, from Smith’s first marriage.
Jada said they have been secretly living apart after growing ‘exhausted’ from trying to save their “fractured” marriage.
Pinkett Smith said she made a promise that there will never be a reason for them to get a divorce adding, “We will work through … whatever.”
