President Emmerson Mnangagwa is celebrating his 81st birthday today.
This comes 11 days after he was inaugurated as President of Zimbabwe.
Mnangagwa was born on 15 September 1942 in Shabani, now Zvishavane area.
He has a long political history dating back to early 1960s and he held several cabinet portfolios in post-independent Zimbabwe.
He came into power on November 24, 2017 before the July 2018 elections, and now the August 23, 2023 polls.
