Police have arrested Sunningdale Member of Parliament, Maureen Kademaunga, who is facing charges of attempted murder and malicious damage to property.
In a statement, Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said Kademaunga was arrested together with Ward 10 councillor Clayd Mashozhera and Daudi Jessub.
They are being accused of attacking three complainants on the 23rd of August during elections.
“The suspects will appear in court in due course”, he said.
