Prominent journalist Hopewell Chin’ono has accused Zanu-PF of stealing resources to bring American boxer Floyd Mayweather.
Taking to social media, Chin’ono said the govenment is failing to deliver on important priorities like health while paying millions to bring Mayweather.
He said:
Whilst Zimbabwe’s ruling ZANUPF party and its supporters are parading an American boxer after paying him a hefty fee, a senior doctor at Zimbabwe’s biggest hospital has just sent me this video.
The whole hospital has no water! Doctors and nurses at Sally Mugabe Hospital don’t know what to do. The patients don’t know what to do! This is Zimbabwe’s biggest hospital! Meanwhile the circus is going around town parading @FloydMayweather
