The former minister of higher education Jonathan Moyo has posted on his twitter account that Zimbabwe’s electoral system has evolved and undergone major reforms which makes its legal framework arguably one of the most progressive in SADC.

210 members of the National Assembly are elected in single member constituencies with 60 women elected by proportional representation in the six-seat constituencies on the country’s provinces.

He said etween 2000 and 2018 with 2013 as the highpoint of the new constitution that year has made its legal framework progressive in SADC  region.
