Zimbabwean film actor and producer based in South Africa Mthulisi Moyo was last night admitted at a Johannesburg hospital after being shot 3 times on the back of his left shoulder last night.
Moyo who is known for featuring popular drama series like Mahlalela which also features local musician Freddy “Kapfupi” and South African popstar Freddy Gwala spoke from the hospital at Johannesburg General Hospital bed saying that he supects that it was an attempt to silence him.
He said that he is not sure if those people wanted to rob them of the car because other people in the car were not harmed.
Moyo was coming from an album launch ceremony as he described and was shortly attacked after leaving the venue.
Moyo suspected that people in the industry might have a hand in him being attacked.
