Zimbabwean politician Linda Masarira has called for the release of incarcerated CCC legislator Job Sikhala.
Sikhala has been languishing at Chikurubi Maximum Prison since his arrest on June 14 this year.
Writting on Twitter, Masarira questioned why Sikhala is being denied bail while corrupt politicians are not in jail.
“If corrupt elements are walking scot-free, why is Job being denied bail”, she said.
Sikhala had his bail application denied again by a Harare magistrate on Tuesday, raising more concerns of a strong political interference in his case.
Linda added that she doesnt like Sikhala but his continued incarceration is a violation of human rights.
