Zanu PF spokesman, Christopher Mutsvangwa, says those criticising the mass movement of Zimbabweans into South Africa do not understand its close relationship with the ruling African National Congress.

This comes after Limpopo’s Health MEC, Phophi Ramathuba chastised a Zimbabwean patient on the impact of foreign nationals on South Africa’s public healthcare.

Mutsvangwa said ZANU PF shares a good relationship with the governing ANC, refusing to dwell on the incident.

He said the ruling party regards South Africa as a sister republic and ANC as a brother republic hence they deal with matters of the state in formal channels.

The spokesperson added that there is no difference of opinion between the two countries insisting that they interact at confidential level with SA government.
