CCC spokesperson Fadzayi Mahere has dismissed as fake rumours that the party leader Nelson Chamisa has been diagnosed with colon cancer.
This comes after a story circulating on WhatsApp alleging that Chamisa was diagnosed with cancer at a private hospital in Harare.
The story alleges that Chamisa begged for prayers in a church group following his deteriorating health.
Mahere said the story circulating on WhatApp is fake news. The president is safe.
