The recently elected mayor of British town of Corby Tafadzwa Chikoto met with President Emmerson Mnangagwa in Harare.

The UK Labour party member Councillor Chikoto made history after being elected the first-ever black mayor of the British town.

He visited Mnangagwa with his wife.

Councillor Chikoto, 45, was born in Zimbabwe and has lived in Corby for nearly 17 years.

He runs a charity in Lakelands Hospice, which provides palliative and end of life care, free of charge, for people in Corby and the surrounding villages.
