Technology mogul Elon Musk has become Twitter’s biggest shareholder after buying 9.2% shares in the social media company.

Musk bought 73,486,938 Twitter shares on 14 March, according to the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Elon has more than 80 million followers on Twitter since he joined in 2015.

Twitter’s stock has increase by more than 26% in pre-market trade through Musk’s passive investment.
