Popular UK based Zimeye founder, Simba Chikanza, has warned the CCC against Fadzayi Mahere, whom he says is suspicious and stages cheap stunts to gain political millage.
This follows social media reports that Mahere was ‘attacked’ in Harare, which Chikanza says are a false narrative.
Writing on Facebook, Simba said :
PEOPLE NEVER LEARN: in 2008, you called me a CIO when I warned Tsvangirai on joining the GNU, before he was murdered; in 2012 you slammed me again when I revealed your SPOKESPERSON Obert Gutu was a notorious spy; in 2015, you repelled me for exposing your SPOKESPERSON Douglas Mwonzora when police later arrested Mwonzora’s girlfriend over fraud involving his bank statement; in 2021, you criticised me for revealing Oppah Muchinguri’s secrets which helped save thousands of people from death. This year I caution you over a very dangerous person in your midst and you once again say I am sponsored by ZANU PF, a party whose fake news I have strangled to the ground locally and internationally, to the point of successful regime change that’s chopped off Mnangagwa’s legs in SADC. I am waiting for the more insults and blinded blurts.
Chikanza questioned Mahere ‘s sincerety and said she is deliberately seeking attention, so that she can claim the title of most persecuted CCC spokeswoman of all time.Â
Mahere is set to be appointed as one of five CCC Vice Presidents, by Nelson Chamisa, when he makes his much awaited announcement after the 26 March by-elections.
She has been traveling with Chamisa wherever he goes, including trips to Tanzania, Zambia, Bulawayo, Gweru, Kwekwe, Marondera and Beitbridge.
Various prominent Zimbabweans have speculated that Mahere was attacked by state agents when she reported a smash and grab robbery on Friday night.
