The experiment by former MDC-T Vice President, Thokozani Khupe, is going seriously wrong as she is failing to convince her former allies to follow her into her newly announced faction.

Chief Ndlovu, the MDC-T Treasurer and close Khupe ally, has refused to jump ship.

Ndlovu told Gambakwe Media that he has not yet made a decision and will first consult his district on his next move.

Key figures in Khuphe’s former MDC-T are openly defying her, fearing recall by MDC Alliance President, Douglas Mwonzora.

None of the MDC-T MPs, councilors and  senators were present when Dr Khupe announced her new faction and none have made statements of support for her new faction.

Ndlovu ‘s case is unique because the Khupe faction was placing him at the center of their fraud allegations against Mwonzora.

A Harare analyst said by staying with the Mwonzora camp, Ndlovu has directly admitted that the fraud charges against Mwonzora were just a political stunt.

The analyst said those closest to Khupe are fed up of being used to fight endless battles to appease her ego.
