Grammy award winning artist, Kanye West – now known as Ye has been named as a suspect in an alleged battery offence, Los Angeles police have said.
The rapper is being investigated after an incident was reported in the early hours of Thursday morning in LA.
The 44-year-old rap star – who legally changed his name to Ye in 2021 – has been accused of punching a fan outside the Soho Warehouse in Los Angeles in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The news comes just a day after Ye was named as one of the headliners for the upcoming Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which is scheduled to take place in April.
