A Nigerian woman has been arrested in connection with the death of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Super TV, Michael Usifo Ataga

Michael Usifo Ataga was also a director in Super Network Limited, a telecoms firm.

Ataga who resides in Banana Island, Lekki, Nigeria was reported missing on Sunday, June 13, by his family and friends after he did not return to his home in Banana Island and also did not turn up at his Victoria Island office.

All efforts to get to Ataga who would have turned 50 on June 18, proved abortive and this caused distress to his wife and kids who live in Abuja.

After days of searching, the former CEO of Super TV’s lifeless body was found on Friday morning June 18, in a flat in Lekki phase 1 with multiple stab wounds.

According to multiple sources, several withdrawals had been made from his account by then.

Ataga was married to a manager who works with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.

The late CEO is said to have met the side chick about two weeks ago and they began a relationship.

To avoid nosy neighbors, Ataga allegedly decided to rent an Airbnb in Lekki, Lagos were they both checked in before the unfortunate incident, the Publication reports. As investigations were on going through the efforts of friends and the concerted efforts of the wife from Abuja, the owner of the Airbnb was tracked down.
