Detained MDC Alliance official, Joana Mamombe and activist Cecilia Chimbiri have written a letter from prison to commemorate the hanging of Solomon Kalushi Mahlangu.
In their letter, the officials revealed that they join South Africans, ANC youth league, EFF, the DA and the rest of the young people in celebrating a life of a hero.
“They may kill us, jail us buy they will be hundreds who are like minded and so the struggle for the Zimbabwe we all want will not die,” wrote the duo.
Solomon Kalushi Mahlangu was a South African freedom fighter, struggle activist and operative of the African National Congress militant wing, Umkhonto we Sizwe. He was convicted of murder and hanged in 1979.
