President Mnangagwa is set to receive Covid-19 Covaxin donated by the Government of India, today 29 March 2021 at 1710 hours, R. G. Mugabe International Airport.
The vaccine from India means the country would be using 3 different types of vaccines.
The first vaccine was received by the Vice President, Constantino Chiwenga. The vaccine was donated by China and it is called Sinorpham.
The second vaccine is called Sinovac. The President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa received his first jab of the Sinovac vaccine last week at Victoria Falls in an event that was attended by other opposition members including the leader of MDC T, Douglas Mwonzora.
Today the President will receive a different type of Vaccine and the vaccine is from India.
