The Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) leader, Prophet Shephered Bushiri has explained why he couldn’t heal his sick child, Israella Bushiri.
In an interview with Times Television, Bushiri said he only prays for the sick and Jesus is the healer.
“I completely think there is nothing wrong about sending my daughter to a hospital for treatment. First of all people should understand that Prophet Shephered Bushiri believes that the doctors treat and God heals,” said Bushiri.
He further said that being a prophet or daughter of prophet doesn’t mean you are immune.
“You know it doesn’t mean we’re immune. You know there is no any place or any time I said we can’t be sick,” said Bushiri.
The justification by Bushiri comes after he was heavily questioned why he is able to heal thousands but fail to heal his child.
Israella Bushiri had to be taken to Kenya for medical treatment.
